You can watch American Bald Eagles here in the Point Roberts area
from anywhere in the world!
Hancock Wildlife Foundation operates out of British Columbia and we encourage you to Donate to their non-profit organization to aid them in teaching and lobbying for all wildlife and the eagles in particular.
Cameras operate 24 hrs per day using Infrared at
night which
doesn't
disturb the Eagles. Eagles
featured
are American Bald Eagles.
Point Roberts, WA has 12 active nests in a 5 square
mile
area, 6 of
which
are easily visible without disturbing
the Eagles. We don't have
Eagle Cams installed yet,
but these cameras in Delta, BC and White
Rock, BC are within
a few miles of Point Roberts.
Established by DAVID HANCOCK in 2006 to broaden hi,s at that time, almost 50 years of lecturing and teaching about wildlife and conservation, to include the web. The Foundation's mandate is to use the internet in general and live streaming wildlife video in particular to promote the conservation of wildlife and its habitats through science, education, and stewardship.
In David's words, "Our first live cameras reached and taught more people in a 4 month period than I had in all my years of lectures combined. This is the way of the future."
